January 29th, 2007Well folks... fist off... welcome to my inagural post on my new blog site and I hope you come back and check it out as I will update often! Well today after taking a few shots I lucked out and looked high in the sky to notice what at first I simply called "an upside down rainbow!" How simple and uneducated a description it was until I found out the technical term from my friend Travis (http://tfavretto.deviantart.com/gallery/) that it is indeed a Circumzenithal Arc. He then notified me that this in fact was a very rare sighting and he himself has never seen one (yes he's jealous!) Well either way I figured I should post a picture of it for all to enjoy!
